The only thing you need to do is just preparing your physic since you have to climb quite high ladder to reach the mount’s peak.

Since you will need local people’s help to guide you during the hiking, it will be very useful for you to be considerate with the. You will also see a lot of local people who hike the mount with heavy baskets of sulfuric rocks with them. You can imagine how tiring this for them so just give them a walk whenever you find them during your climb.

  1. You Might Need a Gas Mask

Most of time, the smell of sulfuric smoke comes out from the crater is quite tolerable. But in the afternoon, the smell will be stronger and stronger that makes the path to the crater is closed at 2 P.M. If you think you can bear the smell, you can rent a gas mask from local people with affordable price.
