Bali Ijen Tumpak Sewu Bromo Surabaya Tour 4D3N

Day 1 : Bali

We provide an English speaking driver and a private car with AC for your transportation from Ngurah Rai International Airport or hotel where you stay in Bali. It takes about 3,5 hours of the trip to Gilimanuk port. Once we arrive at the port, you will ride a ferry to Ketapang port in Banyuwangi. You will also enjoy lunch at the local restaurant. From this city, we will continue our journey to the hotel where you will stay for one night and preparing climbing the next day. You also have free time here and dinner.

Day 2 : Climbing Mount Ijen

The climbing is starting at dawn. We take you to the starting point, Park Ranger post, using a private car with air conditioner. From the starting point, we start climbing to the peak. The route goes through the 2468 ha nature reserve where you can enjoy the various type of plants, see the coffee plantation and enjoy the atmosphere in this rainforest. It takes 90 minutes until the top, the area 2383 meters above sea level.

At the top, you can see beautiful natural blue flames that shine the darkness with its beautiful bluish light. Accompanying by the smoke from a yellow rock formation on the bottom of the crater, you will see one of the most magnificent sceneries in your life. Use your camera to capture this beautiful piece of art.

While you are in this location, witness how sulfur miner work extremely hard to mine the sulfur rock and carry it manually out of the crater. They only use a bamboo basket to carry the sulfur rock that can easily reach 80 kilograms.

Next, we go back to the hotel for a meal and check out. And then go directly to pronojiwo village, nearest village to Lumajang. Check in at homestay, free leisure afterwards.

Day 2 : Trekking Tumpak Sewu waterfall

Breakfast at 6:30 AM and getting prepare to explore Tumpak sewu. Starting the journey, synonymously called an adventure! It takes 3 hours to explore the Tumpak sewu area. Trekking trough tropical landscape of Java Island within Semeru volcano standing tall as the highest Volcano in Java at Background. 10 minute walk from parking area, you will get a panoramic sight of the waterfall from above, a curtain of silky smooth waterfalls. Then you have an option to see the waterfall from its foot.

Take steep path down for about 30 minutes, crossing rivers and various steep hills on the way. Take pictures and enjoy the amazing waterfall before proceed trekking on riverside to find your way out and visiting goa tetes (tetes cave). Returning at parking area, have lunch and check out from homestay. Afterwards, you will continue your journey to Mount Bromo. It takes 4-5 hours, of course with a stop for lunch on the road. In the Mount Bromo area, you will stay at Lava View Lodge, Bromo Cottages or other similar hotels.

Day 3 : Enjoy Bromo Sunrise

On the next day at 3:30 AM, we prepare a 4WD vehicle to take you to Mount Pananjakan. Then, we climb to Tengger caldera to see the beautiful sunrise of Mount Bromo. You also have a chance to try horse riding to explore the Bromo volcanic desert.

Afterward, we return to the hotel, checkout and go to Surabaya, the last destination of this trip. It takes 4-5 hours to reach this city from the Bromo area.
