ITINERARY
Start from your hotel in Bali area (Ubud, Denpasar, Kuta, Seminyak, Nusa Dua, Sanur or Airport) between 07.00 – 07.30 PM. Our English speaking driver will pick pick you up and take you to the most western tip of Bali to reach Gilimanuk ferry port. It takes around 4 hours drive by a private full AC car. After that, we will cross Bali strait with ferry for about 1 hour to reach Ketapang ferry port of Banyuwangi in the most eastern tip of Java Island. We will continue to drive to the base camp and meet an English local guide of Ijen trekking. This journey takes approximately 1,5 hours. Upon arrival, getting prepare or have a coffee-break before start trekking. Start trekking to reach the rim of Ijen crater, ascending the slope for 3,5 Kilometers which normally takes between 1,5 – 2 hours by walk.
From there, you will enjoy the stunning blue fire, burning Sulfur that spews blue light in the dark. When the sunrises, resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2386 meters and enjoy the best panorama of the world’s largest acidic lake with its magnificent turquoise colored water. After You enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then descend the slope of Mount Ijen back to the base camp. Driving through rainforest, you may enjoy forest scenery with unique giant fern trees around. And several coffee plantations for about 1,5 hours drive to get to the restaurant for breakfast. Afterward, we will drive back to Bali island with same route. Escort you back to the hotel.

Day 1 : The journey from Bali hotel to Banyuwangi city
We provide a driver and a private car with AC for your transportation from Ngurah Rai International Airport or hotel where you stay in Bali. It takes about 4 hours of the trip to Gilimanuk port. Once we arrive at the port, you will ride a ferry to Ketapang port in Banyuwangi. You will also enjoy lunch at the local restaurant. From this city, we will continue our journey to the hotel where you will stay for one night and preparing climbing the next day. You also have a leisure time.
Day 2 : Climbing Mount Ijen
At 12:30 AM. We get you at your lobby hotel and it takes 1.5 hours from your hotel to the starting point of Paltuding for climbing Mount Ijen. Then, we need another 1,5 – 2 hours to walking and reach the peak where you can enjoy the stunning blue fire, burning Sulfur that spews blue light in the dark. When the sunrises, resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2386 meters and enjoy the best panorama of the world’s largest acidic lake with its magnificent turquoise colored water.
After You enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then descend the slope of Mount Ijen back to the base camp. Driving through rainforest, you may enjoy forest scenery with unique giant fern trees around. Then return to your hotel for a meal and check out. After that, we continue driving to Bali and arrive at your Bali hotel in the afternoon.
